LINK was brought on to help bring LUCI to life. Our team has been involved in the project taking concepts from sketches all the way to final production units. Wheelchairs are personal and our team wanted to ensure that the design met the needs of every user. We also worked with our electrical engineering partner, HWI, to incorporate the electronics, cable routing, and sensor considerations into the physical design.
Multiple wheelchair systems required a modular system that could be applied to different frames utilizing different sensor locations.
